Yesterday’s sun,
Became a moon under my lap.
Proudly I asked my heart,
“What do you what?”

It said you,
“I want you,
that’s all I want “.

Tears of despair,
I cried on its shoulder,
Joined my two hands,
And apologized for this blunder.

Half isn’t what you deserved,
When you needed a full of me.
Shouldn’t have overridden this burden,
Should have overseen my prophecy.

I apologize,
I apologize,
I apologized to my heart,
Should have given you my all,
But I was busy selling your parts.
