Criticize me, please

Criticize me, please

Who am i to this world

I barely figure out

Ah that’s a great puzzle

They portray me with names

Sometimes derogate out of context

How long will they persuade everyone

Even I’m confused

who am i actually to this world

Would you decipher

What i think

What i say

What i do

Do my skin colour speak

Or the way i practice

my religion and culture

Describe me?

Or you’ll keep fighting

Till i’ll be six feet under

For not fitting in your

definition of perfection

Am i obligated to your coercion

Did i give you any permission

To decide who am i or

Allow you to give

your opinions on my opinion

Neither will i abuse you

For your sick mentality

Nor demonstrate my self righteousness

For I’ve cogent believe in my words and self

You couldn’t shatter me

I’ve rise like a pheonix from cinder

I’m no weak flower

I’ve been get through every brutal storm

While bejeweled in my bruises,

How well you know me?

Have you ever seen my scars

Have you seen me growing up

Are you there while I’m dealing with traumas

Are you there while I fall apart twice a day

Did you swept away my falling tears or

felt my pain

You’ll never knew me the way i do

I’ve been raised to make a difference

Not for playing dirty games

If you think you’re the pious men

Don’t count me upon your list of preys

For dragging the mask from masquerader

disguise as an angel

Will you sentence me as a sinner

Or to death?

If all these fake allegations

Gives you a temporary rush of elation

Then be happy in all these delusions

But remember,

i fear no human power

For i don’t need armies

to fight my own battles.

[Is my value based only on your perception?

Or your opinion of me

Not my responsibility.]

“You clench your teeth. You look up. You tell yourself that if they see you cry, it will hurt them, and you will be nothing but A Sadness in their lives, and you must not become a mere sadness, so you will not cry, and you say all of this to yourself while looking up at the ceiling, and then you swallow even though your throat does not want to close and you look at the person who loves you and smile.”
